Welcome to the S/V Anonymous website. The Anonymous was our second large sailboat, we sold her in 2003 and bought our Gemini 105 Catamaran a couple months later. The Anonymous was a great sailboat, and we miss her a good deal, we had lots of great adventures aboard.

The Anonymous is a Beneteau Oceanis 350, she's a double-speader sloop rig and is about 34 feet long, 11.5 feet wide and has a shoal draft of 4.2 feet, with a bulb-wing keel. She's built to be a blue-water sailboat, but is also very nimble in her handling and can turn within her own length. With all lines running to the cockpit, she is easily sailed by one person, even with the autopilot turned off. She's steered by a wheel in the cockpit and powered by a Volvo Penta 28hp diesel engine.

The boat is comfortable for four people, two sleeping in the aft cabin and two in the forward. While there's berth space in the main saloon for two more people, things would get pretty crowded below on a rainy day.

Sails include her standard mainsail, a roller furling headsail and an asymmetrical spinnaker. She's a very well balanced craft and handles all kinds of wind just fine, but seems to be happiest with beam winds at about 10 knots.
